About the tour

General info

This is a great and unusual way to enjoy the unique atmosphere of Dalmatian hinterland. Fun and relaxing floating through crystal green waters of river Cetina is ideal for all generations. To float in tubes we use quiet parts of the river that are intersected by small rapids and they guarantee true entertainment. The descent down the river is completed with a break for swimming and beverages by choice.

Distance from start to finish: 3.000 meters
Altitude distance from start to finish: 20 meters
River temperature: Between 15°C and 17°C. It depends on the season.
Swimming: You can swim at a few of the stops during the trip.
Fitness Level: A minimum level of fitness is required.
Previous experience: Not necessary.
Age: Minimum age is 8 years.
Number of people per day: Minimum of 4 and a Maximum of 50.
Availability: Every day from 1st of May to October 1st. This trip runs if there are 2 or more people. E-mail us regarding dates and tell us the number of people in your group. We will inform you about the dates available.
Starts from: Village Zadvarje
Departure times: Between 10 and 11 AM (or upon agreement)
Duration of the tour: 3h

Additional info

Special Conditions: The operator has the right to cancel tours, without notice at their discretion depending on the weather or river conditions. All safety instructions from Adventure Dalmatia’s staff must be adhered to.
Duration of transfer: 45 min – one-way (50 km from Split) or 30 min – one-way (25 km from Makarska).
Organized transfers: Every day from Split and Makarska city centers.

Food & Drinks

You can find two small shops in Zadvarje and two restaurants with domestic food and coffee. You can have whole lunch for 8 to 14 Euros.

Onsite facilities

Toilets are available at the beginning and at the end of the trip. There are no toilet facilities available during the canyoning trip.

Canyoning equipment

Helmet, life-jacket, special canyoning suit with extra knee and shin protectors, alpine equipment.

At RIVA in front of the entrance to the substructure of the Diocletian’s palace:

Transfer can be organised from other places and at other times upon agreement.

How to find Zadvarje Village?

By car from Split or Trogir direction:
Exit Split and go north towards highway A1 – DUGOPOLJE entrance. Enter the highway and drive approx. 35 km in direction of MAKARSKA. Exit at ŠESTANOVAC and drive 2 km south to the ZADVARJE village. Meet us at INA petrol station in the village.

What is river tubing?

River tubing is a fun activity that consists of sliding down the river in rubber tubes (donuts).

What is the water level on the tour?

Water is calm and intersected with small rapids. Average temperature is 15-16°C and water runs 8 m³/s.

Is there a weight, height or age limit?

110kg is a maximum weight and age limit is min 10y because sometimes smaller children can’t reach water from tubes with their hands.

Do I need to be physically fit to go tubing?

A minimum level of fitness is required.

Do I have to be able to swim?

Yes, you should know how to swim.

Which equipment is provided?

River tubes, neoprene pants, life-vests, neoprene boots and helmets are provided.

Do you have restrooms and changing rooms?

There are no changing rooms or restrooms on the tour.
