About the tour

General info

An exciting off road adventure that departs from the city of Split will enable you to familiarize yourself with the architecture of old Dalmatian hinterland villages and the traditional way of life. Traveling in off-road vehicles allows us to have an unusual experience of an area where the mountains Mosor and Biokovo are separated only by the deep canyon of Cetina River, which flows into the sea at this point. We begin the off-road tour driving on the southern slopes of the mountain Mosor and the path leads us to an old abandoned village of Gata. After visiting the village, we continue driving to village Blato on Cetina where we organize a barbecue lunch on a lawn by the river. After lunch, we drive to the village Zadvarje to visit the highest waterfall on the river Cetina (Great Gubavica 55m). On our way back to Split we can take a swimming break or go sightseeing town of Omiš.

Starts from: City of Split – Pick up and drop off in front of your accommodation place.
Jeep safari tour departure times: Between 10 AM and 11 AM (or as agreed for each group)
Duration of tour: 5 to 6 h

Special Conditions: The operator has the right to cancel tours, without notice at their discretion depending on the weather or river conditions. All safety instructions from Adventure Dalmatia’s staff must be adhered to.

Are there any age limits to join Jeep Safari tour?

We do not recommend jeep safari tour for children younger than 5 years.

Are there any physical limitations?

Generally, guests must only be able to sit upright with a seatbelt on, while traversing roads that can be bumpy. Your driver/guide will help you with getting in and out of the jeep. People with severe neck or back problems or pregnant women are not recommended to join this tour.

What should I bring?

Please bring comfortable clothes and shoes. Dress accordingly to weather conditions. During summer make sure you bring sunscreen, hat and plenty of water. You can bring camera and your own snacks.

How many people fit in one jeep?

Six people fit into one jeep.

Who will be with me on the trip? Can I book as an individual?

Other individuals or groups who booked the same day as you. On average, we send 8 people per guide. You can book individually and we will join you in one of the groups.

Can I book a private trip?

Yes you can. When sending the reservation form, you can emphasize that you want a private tour.
Price and availability depend on the time of year, transfer and number of people.
