How long is the drive from Split to the river?

Starting from Split to village of Zadvarje where we start with our tours you have approx. 45 minutes driving (50km). Depending on the traffic it can be longer which the case is usually during the high season.

At what time will we be back to Split?

We are back in Split usually around 15:00h from the morning tour and 19:30h from the afternoon tour. This can vary depending on the activity, size of the group and traffic.

How do I get back to my car in the village after the tour?

You will be taken back to your vehicle with our transportation (included in the price) after the tour is over. Have in mind to have your car keys with you, guide will store it in a waterproof bags during the tour.

Can we book a private tour?

Yes, all of our tours are available to book as private tours. You will get your private guide and pick up/drop off time and location.

What is the best activity from Split for rainy days?

In case of rainy day, best activities are rafting and canoe safari. It’s a river activity, you’ll get wet anyway. We will fit you with warm wetsuit and wind jacket

What should I bring with me?

This depends on the tour you are participating in. But generally, you need a swimsuit, towel, some dry clothes to change into after the tour, spare trainers. If you have personal medications (API pen, asthma spray…) please bring them with you and inform your guides about it.

Can we pay in cash?

Yes, you can pay in cash. You can pay with Croatian currency HRK – Kuna or Euro.

How can we pay for the tour?

You can pay in cash, on the spot, or in advance by bank transfer.

Can I bring food and drinks to the river?

You can bring food with you, to consummate on finish, but not during the tour. Due to activity and its dynamic it is hard to hold anything on you. It can happen that you end up drop something in the river, and we want to avoid river pollution.

What are the minimum age limits for a trip?

The minimum age for a child is usually 8 years depending on the tour and child fitness level.

Are meals provided?

Meals are not provided on our regular shared tours. But are available on the private tours.

Can I leave my belongings somewhere?

Yes, you can leave it in the van. It will be waiting for you on the finishing point.

Are there toilets on the river?

There are no facilities on the river during the tour. Some activities have available toilets on starting and some on finishing point. Check out all details out web site, activity you are interested in.

Are there lockers in the village?

There are no lockers in the village, you can leave your belongings in our van or, if you are coming on your own, in your car.

How many people will there be in my group?

This varies on daily bases, depending on the season your activity is happening.

What is the river temperature?

It depends on the season, but usually between 14°C and 17°C.
Spring and autumn can be cooler but we provide you with appropriate equipment.

Do tours get canceled in case of bad weather?

This hardly ever happens but in case of really bad weather or heavy rain we reschedule or cancel the tour. In this case, you receive a full refund.

In case of canceled tour, do I get my money back?

Yes, if Split Adventure cancels the trip, you will get a full refund.

Can I go on a rafting or canoe tour if I don’t swim?

Yes, you can, but please inform us in advance! You will be provided with PFD (personal floating device) to keep you safe and floating, your guides will make sure that it is adjusted properly.

Which of your one-day tours are best for families with kids?

Most of our tours are family friendly. We recommend Rafting, River Tubing or Canyoning, just to name a few.

What is the most exciting one-day tour you offer?

Canyoning or Extreme canyoning on Cetina River

How far in advance should I sign up?

As soon as you know, especially in high season! To assure your place safest would be, at least up to few days in advance or earlier.
